We’re offering small charities the opportunity to receive 4 hours of free ad hoc HR support. As part of our social impact, funded by our trading surpluses we have 4 COMPLY As Required hours, valued at £460 + VAT, available to up to 5 small charities!

2.     Free Essential HR Webinar

Join our FREE Essential HR webinar for small charities.

By the end of the session, you will an awareness of the main requirements of employment law and an understanding of future changes within the Employment Rights Act (ERA), including:

  • Day 1 unfair dismissal rights and what action you should be taking right now to prepare for this
  • The ban on “fire-and-rehire”
  • Increased family leave and pay rights
  • Increased trade union access, and
  • Protections against zero-hour contract abuse

The focus of this session is individuals employed by your organisation, it will not deal volunteers, contractors etc.

We’ll be running our one hour webinar twice during Small Charity Week: 2pm on 23rd June 2026 and 12noon on 25th June 2026.

3.    Free HR training for social sector line managers 👇

Want to build your team’s confidence in line management and support them more effectively? Roots HR Academy is offering a FREE 8-week online training programme (worth £1,795 + VAT), designed specifically for social sector organisations.

Led by expert HR professionals, participants will gain practical skills in key areas such as recruitment, performance management, handling difficult conversations, and team development, alongside the opportunity to connect with peers across the sector.
