What is it?
By the end of the session, you will an awareness of the main requirements of employment law and an understanding of future changes within the Employment Rights Act (ERA), including:
- Day 1 unfair dismissal rights and what action you should be taking right now to prepare for this
- The ban on “fire-and-rehire”
- Increased family leave and pay rights
- Increased trade union access, and
- Protections against zero-hour contract abuse
The focus of this session is individuals employed by your organisation, it will not deal volunteers, contractors etc.
Who’s it for?
This webinar is ideally suited for managers and/or leaders, or those with HR responsibilities, within a small charities (under 50 employees). It’s also a great opportunity for those of you who are just about to start employing people.
