Preferred supplier status
All at Roots HR were delighted with the news that we have been appointed as the preferred supplier of HR advice and support by Greater Manchester Centre for Voluntary Organisations (GMCVO) for their Greater Manchester Voluntary Services Sector (GMVSS) Market Place, beating off stiff opposition from 7 competitors, some of these being national organisations.
GMVSS is a partnership of organisations that support and strengthen the voluntary and community sector across Greater Manchester. Market Place is a free, no obligation service for voluntary, community and faith groups in Greater Manchester to access deals on goods and services.
Being the preferred HR supplier means that voluntary sector organisations registered with GMVSS and across Greater Manchester can choose us as their HR services provider knowing that a robust level of procurement checks have already taken place and agreed rates, terms and deals are in place.
We will be providing free training, support and specific offers to these organizations; in addition to this, we will be monitoring our response from Greater Manchester and have committed to a level of social return activity for the region directly related to the amount of income generated from clients within the region.
We very much look forward to welcoming and to being in contact with the Greater Manchester voluntary and community sector and to expanding our existing work in the North West.
