New Recruit at Roots HR
In October we were very pleased to welcome Kendra Davies as HR Client Manager for our COMPLY service to Roots HR. Kendra is a Chartered Member of the CIPD and offers 11 years' HR experience, the last 3 of which have been spent as a manager in the voluntary sector.
The purpose of Kendra’s role is to ensure our COMPLY service clients derive excellent value by proactively working to understand and deliver the priorities for their organisation from their subscriptions. In addition she ensures they receive a prompt, technically accurate and practical response to their day to day phone calls and emails and emails into the Roots HR offices.
We are delighted to welcome Kendra to the team and see the role and Kendra herself as a significant development in our growth.
Kendra says
"I am very pleased to have been given the opportunity to join Jan and the consultancy team here at Roots HR cic, particularly during its very first year of business. I hope to be able to use my generalist HR experience to provide excellent support to our Third sector clients. My induction has certainly been very busy – but I am pleased that I have been able to make a positive contribution to Roots, and to our customers.
I currently live in Devon, and travel up to Kidderminster once a week to work in the Roots HR offices on a Monday and Tuesday. The rest of the week, I am working from home; as a large part of the work I undertake is document-related, this gives me the peace and quiet to be really focussed on the task at hand. My partner Matthew is getting used to this new way of working; although he does think it's amusing to shout up to me at my desk, and ask me what time I will be home from work..."
