Introducing Christopher Peck
We would like to welcome and introduce to you our new Health and Safety Consultant Christopher Peck. Formerly Health and Safety Manager at Birmingham City University, Christopher is a fully qualified, chartered Health and Safety Consultant and brings to Roots HR over 15 years experience and knowledge. Christopher's first assignment for us was to advise a client who was considering moving premises. He identified the risks, work to be undertaken and formulated recommendations to ensure compliance, while fully taking into account all costs. Christopher took less than a day to undertake a full site visit and compile a report. When asked for feedback, the client told us, "Christopher was a pleasure to work with, very knowledgeable with a good manner and also realistic. I am looking forward to reading the report. Whilst walking around he certainly noticed and raised some good points."
Christopher's next task will be to assist us! Now we have over 5 employees, a documented risk assessment is required and a health and safety training plan will be developed to ensure we are legally compliant.
