Diversity Week 2009
We were thrilled to receive funding to deliver Equality and Anti-Discriminatory Practice training for managers in Birmingham, Worcester and Kidderminster as part of Diversity Week from 16th-20th November '09.
Around 35 managers were trained in half-day sessions throughout the week with many experiences shared and great feedback. We were delighted to be able to use Roots HR client premises for the training and in particular for the residents at Worcester YMCA to provide one of the excellent buffets we enjoyed.
This training forms an important part of an organisation’s defence against discrimination claims and the chance to access this free of charge was very much appreciated by all who attended. We would like to thank our funders, Advantage West Midlands and the West Midlands Employers Coalition, for their support in enabling us to provide such a meaningful involvement contribution to the week.
